Alex Stefan

Alex qualified as a dental surgeon in 2008 from Newcastle university in U.K. followed by a further qualification from the Royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh.

She than embarked on a 2 year  training pathway within the hospital gaining in depth experience in all aspects of dentistry from child dental health to oral surgery.

Her Expertise has been  expanded by working another year  in Maxillofacial surgery treating complex injuries of head and neck.

Finally she settled into general practice in Newcastle and worked for 10 years within the same practice building excellent rapport with patients.

Ready for a new  adventure, She moved to New Zealand in 2019 with her 2 young kids and joined the Katikati Gentle Dental Team.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but with a special interest in oral surgery, ensuring patients always have a painless experience in a friendly and welcoming environment.
